Artist Annabel Frearson led a series of drop-in workshops for pre-schoolers working with sounds, words and materials found in Southwark Park, in response to Alec Finlay’s nest boxes. We made paper, sun prints, mini-shelters for unknown creatures and rustled up an orchestra and ask questions of the trees. Listen to the foraging orchestra here:
Wednesday 4 July // 10am-12pm: Sound work and orchestra in the park
Friday 6 July // 10am-12pm: Mini-shelters
Wednesday 11 July // 10am-12pm: Paper-making
Friday 13 July // 10am-12pm: Solar prints
Please note that the workshop themes might switch round due to the weather.
