Free drop-in Family Workshops for all Ages
CGP London // Dilston Grove // 10am – 12pm & 1 – 3pm each day

Join artist Diana Taylor in a series of print-making workshops over the May half-term. These workshops will explore recurring motifs and patterns and focus on themes which run throughout her work and John Walter‘s, whose exhibition CAPSID spans both galleries at CGP London. Using screen-printing stencil processes, the sessions will culminate in individual artworks and a large-scale, collaborative piece combining the prints made in the Drop-In Family Workshops as well as in the Seniors Art School.

ABOUT DIANA TAYLOR
Diana Taylor is a London-based artist, working with a multi-disciplinary approach to painting. Her practice comprises traditional and digital processes in painting, printing, textiles and needlework to explore the repetitive nature of time and notions of a-temporality in an age of information overload. The images and processes in the work are linked by a pre-occupation with redundancy, failure and ruin in visual culture. Taylor is currently studying for a PhD by practice, at Sheffield Hallam University, in collaboration with the William Morris Gallery, London.

Residencies include the Centre of Contemporary Arts, Majorca, (Apr 2018 and 2012), Modern Art Oxford (2015) and British School at Rome (Abbey Scholarship, 2011). Recent shows include Like the Lines of a Hand (2018), Threads (2017), The Centre for Recent Drawing, and Screen (2015) Turps Gallery, London. In 2015 she was shortlisted for the Dazed X Converse Emerging Artist Award.
