Southwark Park Galleries: Lake Gallery and Dilston Gallery are two venues set within Southwark Park Bermondsey, adjacent to the River Thames with excellent transport links.

Southwark Park Galleries is a registered educational charity managed by the Bermondsey Artists’ Group. Income generated from venue hire goes directly towards our community learning and exhibition programmes. Both venues are fully accessible, local community and arts organisational discounts available.

PLEASE NOTE // Lake Gallery and Dilston Gallery are not available for hire for visual art exhibitions, weddings or private parties.

DILSTON GALLERY

An inspiring Grade II listed building designed in 1911 by Sir John William Simpson and Maxwell Ayrton (Empire Stadium Wembley). Renovated in 2010 by award winning architects Walter Menteth Ltd. The main space is 190 square metres with an imposing rafted ceiling 9 metres high, a raised stage area, changing rooms and a 3 phase power supply. The engaging glass fronted entrance and reception area is 56 metres and has panoramic views over Southwark Park.

LAKE GALLERY

An airy modern building fully renovated in 2000 next to the park lake. The main space is L-shaped measuring 96 square metres. The interconnected Salter Room is 30 square metres and both have a ceiling height of 4.2 metres. The reception and foyer area opens onto a private garden through two glass double doors.
